Terms for visitors to the GoldenPages website. Covers permitted use, listing accuracy, privacy, liability, and governing law.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or browsing the GoldenPages website at goldenpages.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms apply to all visitors to the website, regardless of whether you hold an account.

These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, also available at goldenpages.co. Separate terms and conditions govern businesses listed on the platform and are agreed to during the business onboarding process. Registered subscribers are subject to their own Terms of Use for Users in addition to these terms.

ABOUT THE PLATFORM

GoldenPages is a business directory platform operated by Chiang Mai Business Network Co., Ltd., based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The platform provides a searchable directory of businesses and services in and around Chiang Mai for the benefit of local and international users.

PERMITTED USE

As a website visitor, you may use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes to search for businesses and services listed in the directory.

Regardless of the purpose for which you access the website, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, scrape, or extract directory content or listing data by automated or manual means for commercial purposes;
  • use the platform to build a competing directory or database of businesses;
  • attempt to access any part of the platform or its underlying systems by unauthorised means;
  • use the platform in any way that could damage, disrupt, or impair its operation; or
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the platform.

All directory content on the platform is the property of GoldenPages or its member businesses. Unauthorised extraction or commercial use of that content is a breach of these terms and may constitute a breach of applicable law.

ACCURACY OF LISTINGS

Listing information on the platform is provided by member businesses. GoldenPages does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information in listings unless a listing is designated as Curated. For a full explanation of what Curated status means and its limitations, see goldenpages.co/curated-status.

Curated status is not an endorsement of the quality, reliability, or conduct of a business. It reflects administrative compliance at the time of verification only. Free listings have been subject to a basic review of publicly available online content to confirm compliance with our platform standards. We have not verified the registration, licensing, or legal compliance of free-listed businesses.

You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any business relationship with a listed business. GoldenPages accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on listing information, except where that loss results directly from GoldenPages' own acts or omissions.

BUSINESS NOMINATIONS

The platform allows visitors to nominate businesses for inclusion in the directory. By submitting a nomination you confirm that:

  • you have a genuine basis for believing the business operates in or around Chiang Mai;
  • the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and
  • you are not submitting a nomination for commercial gain or any purpose other than genuine directory inclusion.

GoldenPages reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove any nomination. Grounds for rejection include, but are not limited to: insufficient or unverifiable information; evidence the nomination was submitted for commercial or competitive purposes; the business does not appear to operate in or around Chiang Mai; or the nomination does not meet our platform content standards.

Submission of a nomination does not guarantee inclusion. GoldenPages may contact the nominated business using the information you provide. By submitting a nomination you consent to this contact being made.

You must not submit false, misleading, or malicious nominations. Doing so may result in your access to the platform being restricted.

TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHT

The GoldenPages name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of Chiang Mai Business Network Co., Ltd. Nothing on the platform grants you any right to use GoldenPages trademarks, trade names, or branding without prior written permission.

All content on the platform that is not provided by member businesses — including design, layout, text, graphics, and code is owned by or licensed to GoldenPages and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.

Member businesses retain ownership of content they submit to the platform. By listing on the platform, members grant GoldenPages a licence to display their content. This licence does not transfer to visitors to the platform.

THIRD PARTY SITES

The platform may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including linked business websites, social media profiles, and external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. GoldenPages does not control third party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices.

A link on the platform does not constitute an endorsement of the linked site or its operator. When you leave the platform by following a third party link, these Terms of Use no longer apply. You should review the terms and privacy policy of any third party site you visit.

VIRUSES AND MALICIOUS CODE

GoldenPages takes reasonable steps to ensure the platform is free from viruses and malicious code. However, we cannot guarantee that the platform, or any content accessible through it (including content on linked third party sites), is free from such risks.

You are responsible for ensuring that your device has adequate protection before accessing the platform or following any external links. GoldenPages accepts no liability for damage to your device, data, or systems caused by viruses or malicious code encountered through use of the platform or any linked site.

You must not introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious or harmful code to the platform.

PRIVACY AND DATA

GoldenPages collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at goldenpages.co. The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and should be read alongside them.

The platform operates in Thailand and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). Where GoldenPages also serves visitors based in the European Union or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA USE

Information made available on the platform is intended for personal use in identifying and contacting businesses. You must not use contact details, business information, or any other data obtained from the platform to build marketing lists, conduct unsolicited outreach, or for any purpose other than genuine engagement with a listed business.

Any information you submit to the platform, including business nominations, may be used by GoldenPages in accordance with its Privacy Policy. We will not sell your personal information to third parties.

DISCLAIMER

The platform and all content on it are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. GoldenPages makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content on the platform for any particular purpose.

GoldenPages does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Nothing on the platform constitutes professional advice of any kind, including legal, financial, medical, or commercial advice. You should seek independent professional advice before acting on any information found on the platform.

LIMITED LIABILITY

GoldenPages excludes liability for loss or damage arising from the following, to the extent permitted by applicable Thai law:

  • reliance on listing information provided by member businesses, whether or not that listing is designated as Curated;
  • transactions or relationships entered into with listed businesses;
  • loss of data or damage to systems arising from your use of the platform or linked third party sites; and
  • interruption to or unavailability of the platform due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

GoldenPages does not exclude liability for loss or damage caused directly by its own negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Thai law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522.

AVAILABILITY AND INTERRUPTION

GoldenPages does not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times. The platform may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where planned maintenance will cause material interruption to the platform, we will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice.

GoldenPages reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to the platform without notice in urgent circumstances, including where required by law, to protect the security or integrity of the platform, or to comply with a regulatory or judicial order.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

GoldenPages reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Where changes are material, we will publish a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the revised terms take effect. For minor or non-material changes, we will publish the updated terms with the date of revision and update the version number.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to revised terms, you should stop using the platform.

PLATFORM CONTENT COMPLIANCE

GoldenPages operates in compliance with the Computer-Related Crime Act B.E. 2550. GoldenPages will cooperate fully with lawful requests from Thai authorities and will act promptly on notifications that content on the platform constitutes an offence under Thai law.

You must not use the platform to submit, share, or access content that:

  • constitutes an offence under Thai law or that is unlawful under the laws of the jurisdiction from which you are accessing the platform; or
  • is harmful, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful, regardless of jurisdiction.

If you identify content on the platform that you believe is unlawful, you may report it to us at privacy@goldenpages.co. GoldenPages will investigate all such reports and take appropriate action.

COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about the platform or a listing, please contact us at privacy@goldenpages.co. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the relevant Thai regulatory authority:

  • For data-related complaints: the Personal Data Protection Committee.
  • For consumer-related complaints: the Consumer Protection Board under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522.

For the purposes of this section, business days means days other than Saturdays, Sundays, and Thai public holidays.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

If you access the platform from outside Thailand, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
